60%

60%...that's how much my next assignment (due next Thurs) is worth!!! And i am going no where with it!!! Its like, the more pressured i am to complete it, the more inertia i experience...SIGH!! Again i'm wondering WHY am i studying?? My assignment is an essay on different kinds of families and how government policies have been biased towards such families...chose to write on single parent families and gay families...sounds simple, but my brain is currently not working! AND i am totally not familiar with Australian policies...so i really have to read up on those...URGHH!!
HOw nice it is to be like Benji...all he needs to worry about is...how to stay out of trouble so that he can have his chocolate cake....

The Wongs came to visit.

Sigh...those 2 weeks went too fast...yup my parents and sis have come and gone and i am missing them quite a bit now. It was a really good time of catching up and showing them the place we have called home for almost 1.5 years now. We went to many places, saw lots of beautiful sceneries, ate lots of good food (including my mum's comforting home cooked meals), had lots of coffee, engaged in many meaningful conversations, watched many episodes of "The champions" (a TSC drama serial) together, worshipped together, did lots of shopping together, went on many long road trips and shared much laughter together. I really thank God for giving us that chance to catch up and saying goodbye again was surprisingly hard for me. But i will be seeing them again next year...probably in Feb and thank YOU God for watching over them so carefully and lovingly!

The visit to Sydney BP church. My parents finally got to experience and see where we have been worshipping and serving.

Sitting on the ferry to Manly. I recall the day with much fondness, as i haven't spent a day with my family for a long time...it brought back memories of being a Wong. Thank You God for giving us that opportunity...

Our brand new steamboat flown directly from Singapore. Thanks mum and dad for this timely addition to our kitchen! We had a warming steamboat dinner to celebrate Mother's Day. This was one of the many meals that my mum had cooked for us. Really miss her cooking...sigh

Our short trip to the South Coast, this picture was taken at a lookout point on the way to Wollongong...it was such a peaceful and beautiful moment being up there with all the most important people in my life.

Mum, dad and little Wong enjoying the good food, good coffee and good company. Our standard coffee order was, 1 long black (mum's), 1 cappucino (dad's), 2 mochas (me and sis) and 1 diet coke (eugene's). From top left to right, breakfast at Le Petit Creme, Lunch at Vagarbar, lunch at the Fish Market and Yum Cha at East Ocean restaurant in Chinatown.

Can you guess who the shadows belong to? Enjoying the scenery along a walk from Bondi beach to Bronte beach.
