My Sunday School Class

This is the cosy sunday school class i teach on Sundays. Yup...only 2 wide-eyed and angelic little girls, Emma is 4 (on the left)and Rachel is 2 (on the right).Emma commented that i looked funny when i showed her this picture! Last Sunday we had a mini farewell for Emma as she was leaving us with her family to relocate to Brisbane. It was quite sad to see her go as she has always been the "big sister" to Rachel, and she has contributed to countless intriguing conversations and observations. Bye bye Emma and may you continue to grow in the Lord.

Pukey

That was something i could stomach for breakfast on Saturday...and that was about the only full meal i could take for the day. Sigh...hoping and praying that this eating thing will get better soon...2 more weeks...little peanut, why do you make me so sick? But my dear cooked dinner yesterday...could see that he really enjoyed doing it...but sadly couldn't eat much of what he cooked! But i enjoy watching him enjoy his food!

Leaving...

Now that we know we are leaving in 4 months time...we thought we would take the weekends to soak up Sydney and its sights for the last few times. Waking up to a beautiful cloudless sky on Saturday, we decided to head down to Bondi beach...and i found this cafe on a website..."3 Eggs". The atmosphere embodied the aussie vibe so aptly, with its open style kitchen, where 3 chefs in bandanas holding up shaggy blonde hair, singing to music that was being played in the cafe and barking out orders..blackened pots and pans..churning out good ole hearty scrambled eggs with toasts...the smell of coffee and the bacon frying..wish i could bottle all this and bring it home with me! We sat at the beach later...contemplating and breathing in the fresh ocean breeze.

A new life

Yes...2 lines = pregnant. We are 10 weeks old now! Both of us are elated and the whole pregnancy has kept us in awe..watching the little thing on the monitor and seeing its heart beating furiously...the miracle of life! I have been plodding on...battling some morning sickness and the constant overwhelming desire to curl up in bed! But with God's grace and strength...little peanut (as the baby is now affectionately known and it really looked like a small peanut on the monitor!) has alot more growing to do!

Completed

I am still alive and kicking...in case anybody was wondering!! Just have been very lazy with updating and i feel so guilty about it! Ok...yup...i am officially graduated and have my cert firmly in my grasp. Phew...that's over and would have never done it without the encouragement from my dearest...family and without the strength and power from God. It was a lovely occassion..and felt like a chapter of my life is coming to a close and a new one is opening...more of that to come soon...
